Dr. Onamah Ojodomo Godwin is a seasoned academic and administrator from Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State. He earned a PhD in Public and Local Government Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2020. His remarkable career spans nearly two decades, during which he has made significant contributions to education, research, and public service.
As an accomplished author, Dr. Onamah has published six textbooks and over twenty journal articles, sharing his expertise and advancing knowledge in his field. He has participated in twelve conferences and workshops, contributing to academic discourse and staying at the forefront of developments in public administration. His dedication has been recognized with 26 awards from governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Dr. Onamah has supervised more than 2,000 ND and HND students, nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals. His administrative roles at Kogi State Polytechnic have included serving as Head of the Public Administration Department (twice), Dean of Student Services, Director of Academic Planning, and a member of the Polytechnic’s Governing Council. He currently holds the position of Director of Advancement, Support, and Linkages, where he fosters collaboration and creates opportunities for institutional growth.
Within the Noble Committee of Friends, Dr. Onamah’s leadership and strategic insights have been invaluable. His commitment to community service and consultancy work reflects his dedication to uplifting others and making a lasting impact. He can be reached at onamahg31@gmail.com.
