Treasurer

Engr. Dcn. Joseph E. Okai is a seasoned civil engineer with a specialization in transportation. He holds professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Over a distinguished career spanning 35 years, he served with dedication in the Federal Ministry of Works, Abuja, particularly in the Department of Highways (Construction and Rehabilitation) for the North Central region. His expertise contributed to numerous landmark federal highway construction projects, culminating in his retirement as a Chief Resident Engineer.

Currently engaged in private practice, Engr. Okai also devotes significant time to humanitarian services, reflecting his commitment to community and faith. As a Deacon with the United Evangelical Church, English Branch, Lokoja, he plays key roles, including serving as Church Treasurer since 2022, Chairman of the Deacons’ Board, and head of the Church Building Committee.

In the Noble Committee of Friends, Engr. Okai holds the position of Treasurer, where his meticulous organizational skills and financial acumen ensure the smooth management of the committee`s resources.
