James Ike Akodi, FCTI, CNA, hails from Ibaji Local Government Area in Kogi State. A distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Certified National Accountant (ANAN), James has a solid academic foundation with a B.Sc. in Business Management and an MBA in Financial Management.

James has had a remarkable career in accounting and taxation. He worked at the Office of the Accountant General of Kogi State, where he served as an accountant at the directorate level. In 2003, he transferred to the Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue, where he headed the Department of Collection and Accounting. His leadership and expertise saw him later serve as Director and Head of the Department of Personal Income Taxes until his retirement in December 2012.

After retiring, James continued to impact the field as a Chartered Tax Practitioner. He is the Managing Partner of Imachojo`n and Co. Consult, a reputable tax consultancy firm registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). His extensive experience and deep understanding of taxation have made him a key figure in the industry, providing valuable insights and services to clients.

Within the Noble Committee of Friends, James plays a crucial role by offering financial advice and support, helping the club manage its resources effectively. His contributions have been instrumental in ensuring the club’s financial health, allowing it to carry out its community projects smoothly.
